"At LaGuardia Community College, we have a saying: Challenge expectations. As fitting as these words are in an essay on the unique value of an honors program at a community college, they also reflect the creation, growth, and ultimate goal of our program and its amazing students, faculty, and staff, who embody these words every day."

Transfer Peer Support Network (TPSN)
Applying for institutions outside of CUNY and SUNY can be daunting. This is why the Honors Student Advisory Committee (HSAC) initiated the TPSN program several years ago. The TPSN is an interactive support system designed to guide students through the transfer process. Although there are numerous 4-year college admissions guides out there, it's not fun going head on with the transfer application alone; therefore, we supply a community of peers--who are members of HSAC--and successful LaGuardia alumni to galvanize LaGuardia students to preparing early. Alongside this initiative, the Director of Transfer Services, Bart Grachan, will be running a series of transfer workshops that complement the essence of the TPSN program. Take this opportunity to surround yourself with highly motivated individuals who are also going through the transfer process as well. Good luck and may your endeavors result in success.
For Bart Grachan’s Transfer Essentials Workshop Series Schedule: Click Here
Note: The TPSN program will be held the following Wednesdays after each of Bart Grachan's workshop in room E-147 (unless stated otherwise) from 2:30-3:30pm.
